Rural 1 is made up of Beerburrum, Beerwah, Booroobin, Bribie Island North, Cambroon, Conondale, Diamond Valley, Glass House Mountains, Kenilworth, Landsborough, Maleny, Mooloolah Valley, Mount Mellum, North Maleny, Peachester, Reesville, Witta, Curramore, Crohamhurst, Coochin Creek, and Balmoral Ridge.
