Sunshine Coast residents Health and Wellbeing Index returned a value of 7.4 out of 10. This finding was higher than Australia: 2024 (7.0), Queensland: 2024 (7.1), South East Queensland: 2024 (7.1), and Regional Australia: 2024 (6.9).

Physical health

Residents rated their current physical health an average of 7.4 out of 10. When asked about the future, 31% forecast that their physical health will get better in 12 months and 10% believe it will get worse.
