Australia’s overall liveability – created by combining residents’ values and local area experiences – returned a Overall Liveability Index of 63.4 out of 100. By this measure, liveability in Australia is considered higher than Australia: 2022 (62.5), Australia: 2023 (62.6), and Reg/Rural Australia: 2024 (61.5) and lower than Metro Australia: 2024 (64.5).
